SleepMed is committed to our patients' needs. We realize that our patients may have concerns regarding their insurance coverage, and in order for us to assist them with these concerns, we suggest that our patients contact their insurance company in advance to verify that their sleep test(s) ordered by the referring physician is a covered benefit under their health insurance policy. In addition, they must verify with the insurance company if the sleep test(s) requires a pre-authorization in advance.

In addition, if required, please be sure to obtain and bring a written referral form from your referring physician if. Please ask the referring or the primary care physician (or check with your insurance company) to determine if a referral is required for your visit(s).

Accepted Insurance Plans
We participate with most of major insurance plans offered in South Carolina. Please contact the individual insurance company or our office to determine the specific coverage the plan provides. Since the quality of our patients' sleep is our primary concern, if a patient does not have a health insurance coverage or we do not participate with the insurance plan, contact our office staff members can assist him/her.
